Here's mine:
Not included is my multitool, and I am also looking for a EDC flashlight. I've been eyeballing stuff from Fenix and Surefire, anyone have any suggestions or recommendations?
SureFire is excellent. Only snag there is the fat Li 123A sized batteries.
WHat's the cutlery you have there? looks like a nice lever opening item.
Anyone out there know what the manufacturer and model that the Army is issuing to its troops these days in the way of multitools? and critiques for same?
Fenix is a go9d brand of light as well. Sure fires are awesome, but tell one I have eats batteries like candy.
I also found Olympic brand online and have been very happy with it for a couple years now.
Honestly, any Fenix light would make a great EDC. I have the PD25 and the CR123 battery lasts forever. The cheap amazon tact lights are great too. Pretty much any of the models that look like the one found here (https://www.amazon.com/Hausbell-Ultr...cal+flashlight) are good. I have collected several over the years.
I don’t have “hobbies” I’m developing a robust Post-Apocalyptic skill set.
I'm a Surefire man myself, 6P is my favorite but I'd carry a G2 but I agree the 123's are and will be an issue in a SHTF circumstance. If you find a good light that runs on our common AA - AAA batteries then pick up a few to hold on too.
Be ready now, you won't have that chance later.
